Connected Campus Challenge Description
The challenge is to develop solutions that will help students connect on campus, fostering a more open, accessible, and inclusive environment. Let's create an inspiring environment that encourages collaboration, sparks creativity, and fosters mutual support.
Challenge objective:
The objective of this challenge is to develop ideas that will cater to the different needs and preferences of students, teachers and staff members — this may include, for instance, spaces for relaxation, mental health support, or extracurricular activities. We want to create a space that pushes the boundaries of conventional higher education settings — a space where students and employees not only come to study and work but also to live and thrive. Think boldly and envision a campus that empowers everyone, encourages mutual respect, embraces advancements in technology, fosters the development of meaningful relationships, and promotes effective stress management.
For this challenge, you can focus on the following questions to come up with an idea:
- Well-being: What kind of facilities do students and employees need to recharge? How can we help students and employees to fight stress?
- Cultural awareness: How can we help international students and those with diverse cultural backgrounds feel welcomed and valued?
- Connect and build relationships: How can we help students and employees fight loneliness?
- Connecting campus to society: How can we bridge classroom activities to society?
These questions are just for inspiration. Feel free to contemplate other issues as long as they fit the challenge objectives. It can be small things or big things — what matters is that your idea resonates with the objectives of the challenge.
