At the start of this new academic year, join us for a fun reading club. This time, we'll be reading Quiet by Victoria Adukwei Bulley. This collection of poems dives into all kinds of themes, from belonging to guarding your inner life and from empire to friendship. Everyone is welcome, whether you love to read poetry every day or you have no idea where to start when you see a poem.
In three sessions (September 4th, September 11th and September 18th), we read a selection of poems from Bulley's book. We do so on the spot, with some coffee, tea and cookies. You don't need to prepare anything; we'll bring a hand-out with the poems we will be reading together. There is a lot of room to discuss and to link what we read to our own experiences. See you there!
