The VU Education Day on 5 March 2026, will be entirely dedicated to ‘A Broader Mind – From theory to classroom’. It promises to be a day full of inspiration, connection, and new perspectives, bringing VU’s A Broader Mind vision to life.
This year, we are taking a big step: translating VU’s broader vision into the everyday reality of education.
Opening and Keynote
We will kick off the day with a joint plenary session, where Prof. dr. Kristin Vanlommel will guide us through the art of organizing change within VU.
VU Education Awards Ceremony
The VU Education Day will conclude with the festive presentation of the VU Education Awards. The following awards will be presented: the Master’s Thesis Award, Student Talent Award, Educational Innovation Award, and Teaching Talent Award. Afterwards, we will raise a toast in the Foyer – to the finalists and to one another!
