Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ

Digital innovation has become a major topic of study in the field of information systems and organization science. As a result, scholars need to understand in mo re detail how to study knowledge-intensive practices that emerge from the interplay between (new) technologies and new ways of working as well as the management thereof.

A significant group of scholar s, spread over Europe and the US/Canada, are using various practice a nd process approaches to study such new ways of working, innovating, and organizing and publishing in a growing number of related internat ional journals. During the KIN Summer School, we will bring together a varied selection of scholars to share academic insights and experie nces. During 3 intensive days, participants and faculty members will discuss research in Digital Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation. Ea ch year we invite a different group of faculty members, considered th e top international scholars in the field. Also, each year we select 20 participants based on their fit with the topic and experience with research. Potential participants - late-year doctoral students, post -doc researchers, and junior faculty members – are invited to send in their applications.

The 13th edition of the KIN Summer School starts on Thursday, June 19th, and ends on Saturday, June 21s t. In this edition, the KIN Summer School hosts the following interna tional group of professors: Paul Leonardi (University of California, Santa Barbara), Jan Recker (University of Hamburg), Luciana D’Adder io (University of Edinburgh), Jorgen Sandberg (University of Queensla nd) and Marleen Huysman (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ).

The KIN Summer School is organized by the KIN Center for Digital Innovation of th e Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ in collaboration with the Amsterdam Business Research Institute (ABRI).
