Rector magnificus Jeroen Geurts is proud of the grant allocation, as it proves that VU Amsterdam is investing in education and belongs to the frontrunners in this field. "The subsidy is not only financial support but also a beautiful recognition of our collective dedication to innovation in education," said Geurts.
Under the theme "Building Education Together," VU CTL will launch a series of transformative initiatives in collaboration with various programs and faculties. The subsidy will be used to develop a vision for future-proof teaching, interdisciplinary and inclusive education, strengthening the quality of learning and innovation in the workplace, curriculum renewal, and enhancing collaboration between educational institutions in Amsterdam.
Janneke Waelen, director of CTL, describes the allocation as "particularly valuable." "With CTL, we are building the education of tomorrow. The Npuls CTL subsidy proves that VU is taking a leading role in this and enables us to share even more knowledge and ideas in the field of educational development."
