AI and Health Symposium

Share
3 November 2025
From pilot to practice: How to turn AI initiatives into impactful practices in healthcare.

Join us on November 21st in this interdisciplinary session on AI and Health! What are the challenges and success factors that allow some AI initiatives in healthcare to thrive while others fail or stagnate?

This session brings together practitioners and academics active in AI and healthcare. Our goal is to foster cross-community and interdisciplinary discussions among medical professionals, AI developers, researchers, patient representatives, legal and ethical experts, and business and economics specialists.

Listen to five showcases explained by experts and join our panel discussion to learn more about how an AI pilot can evolve into real-world practice.

  • Radiation treatment optimization (Anton Bouter, CWI)
  • Screening pulmonary cases (Dr. Willem Grootjans, LUMC)
  • Monitoring critically ill children in Africa (Niek Vertseegde, Goal3)
  • AI in Mental Health (Heleen Riper, VU)
  • AI in ICU discharge (Wouter Kroese, PacMed)

For more information, please visit our , where you can also find a full schedule of the event. The deadline for for the symposium is November 14.
