The Career Orientation training course offers tools to help you think about the next step in your career.

For PhD students employed by VU Amsterdam, the Job to Job counselling team organises a career workshop towards the end of their employment. We discuss unemployment benefits and provide a concise job application training course for PhD candidates. In addition, you can follow four webinars that we offer. During these webinars, you will learn to reflect on your competencies, acquire practical skills in networking and LinkedIn, and learn how to write a successful CV and cover letter and conduct job interviews. Two months before the end of your contract, the team will invite you to register.
