With a master’s degree in Economics from VU Amsterdam, you will graduate with strong analytical and quantitative skills, opening doors to careers across consulting, banking, government, international organisations, research institutes and academia.
Graduates are in high demand: around 40% secure a job before graduation, and another 30% within three months. Alumni work as consultants for private corporations, major firms such as Deloitte and McKinsey, and leading banks. Others have taken positions at the Dutch Central Bank and the European Central Bank, worked as researchers at the OECD and World Bank, served as policy officers in national ministries, or joined the faculties of leading universities.
