Understand the politics of the climate crisis

Political Science: Global Environmental Politics

Are you engaged with the political challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and the global transition to sustainability? Do you want to understand how governments, corporations, and civil society actors shape environmental policy at the national and international level? Then the specialization in Global Environmental Politics is the right choice for you.

The specialisation Global Environmental Politics explores the political dynamics of the climate crisis and the transition to a just and sustainable future. You will study how environmental issues are governed across borders, how power and inequality shape environmental outcomes, and how international agreements like the Paris Accord are negotiated and implemented. Special attention is given to the role of science, activism, and corporate responsibility in shaping environmental governance.

The start date of this programme is September 1st.
