Python Libraries: Leon Lan, a fourth-year PhD candidate in Operations Research at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, is the developer of PyVRP and PyJobShop, two open-source Python libraries that are transforming how we approach routing and scheduling challenges. Leon will share his journey in building these tools to solve complex logistics and manufacturing problems.
Getting to know each other better
We are also celebrating the 35th anniversary of one of our programmes, Business Analytics. Therefore, the event will have a festive touch, including a pub quiz with questions about the history of all the programmes present this afternoon. Alessandro Zocca will give a sneak peek of our new Lifetime Development programme at the Beta Faculty. We will close the meeting by raising a glass with peers and old acquaintances, in celebration of many more years of our programmes.
